Dear customer,

From 1. January 2021, your transport to and from the UK will always start with a customs declaration. Once this has been done, you declare the customs documents digitally to the port operators via Portbase.

This pre-registration with Portbase is compulsory for all the shipping companies and ports listed:

- Stena Line

- P&O Ferries

- CldN

- Sea-Cargo

- Rotterdam

- Amsterdam

- Hoek van Holland

Otherwise your vehicle will not be allowed access to the port terminal. So make sure you agree on who does what in your logistics chain. In 4 simple steps you can ensure fast transport via the Dutch ports also in 2022.

1. Submission of import/export declaration or T-document via Portbase

2. Pre-registration of customs documents with Portbase

3. Registration for Portbase services (possible without subscription to TSF)

4. If the terminal has the customs document (in advance) a smooth shipment is possible
